A Team Sport

Have you ever played a team sport? No matter how many people are on the team the sport requires the same things from each player. Things like, Reliability, Dependability, Commitment, and Trust. Partnership is no different, it’s a team sport as well. Relying…on each other, Dependent and Interdependent…on each other. Committed…to each other and putting the full weight of our Trust…on each other. It’s interesting that the teams, like relationships, who commit to these values are often the ones remembered in history.

Kingdom Creative, there is One who Relies on you, Depends on you, is Committed to you and has put the full weight of His Trust in you (Matthew 28:18-20). Leadership is often best taught by example. What stands in front of you today? What Red Sea? (Ex. 14:21-22) What Wall? (Joshua 6) What Giant? (1 Samuel 17) stands in front of you? You don’t need to wait on your teammate, your teammate is waiting on you. Waiting on you to Rely on Him, waiting on you to Depend on Him, waiting on you to Commit to Him and waiting on you to put the full weight of your Trust on Him.

How? By simply taking a step. Walking between two walls of water, first requires a step (Ex. 14:21-22). Bringing down an impenetrable fortress, first requires a step (Joshua 6). Bringing down an ominous enemy, first requires a step (1 Samuel 17). A step on wet sand, a step on foreign territory and a step on the battlefield. It’s your call.

Kingdom Creative, take the step to buy the canvas. Take the step to throw the clay. Take the step to make the mark. Take the step. It’s not until we take the step that the miracle is released. It’s not until we take the step that destiny is fulfilled. Take the step. The ball is in your court, and He has given you the opportunity to score the winning shot.
